The story behind Pamper Room...
If you’d told me 15 years ago that one day I’d own my own beauty salon, I probably wouldn’t have believed you!
Beauty wasn’t actually where my working life began. I originally trained and worked as an Interior Designer, but when the recession hit in 2008, my career took a different direction. After a short spell working for an energy provider — which I quickly realised wasn’t for me — I began studying holistic therapies, initially simply because I found them interesting.
It turned out to be the start of something I never expected.
I became fascinated by anatomy and physiology, particularly the muscles of the human body and how massage could help ease tension and encourage relaxation. I loved learning, developing my skills and, most importantly, seeing how much of a difference a treatment could make to the way someone felt.
As my client base grew, people began asking me if I offered beauty treatments too. So, naturally, I went back to studying!
Over the years I’ve trained in a wide range of treatments, including waxing, advanced waxing, facials, eyelash extensions, nail treatments and many other beauty and holistic therapies — while massage has remained one of my greatest passions.
How Pamper Room began...
Pamper Room officially opened its doors on 1st September 2013, in one little treatment room tucked away at the back of a hair salon.
And that’s exactly where the name Pamper Room came from!
I spent that first year continuing to develop my skills, building my reputation and gradually growing a loyal client base. In 2014, I was able to take the exciting next step and open my very own salon on Humberstone Lane in Thurmaston.
Pamper Room remained there for nine years. During that time the business grew and evolved, I worked alongside some lovely therapists, and watched members of the team develop their own careers and eventually move on to new adventures.
Then, in 2023, I was told that the property was going to be redeveloped and it was time for Pamper Room to find a new home.
That unexpected change eventually led me to Syston.
On 1st September 2024, I opened the doors to the new Pamper Room — a bigger, beautiful salon and a space that finally feels like home.
And I’m very excited to see where the next chapter takes me.

Pamper Room is an independent massage, beauty and holistic salon where you’ll always receive a warm, friendly welcome.
I’ve created a clean, comfortable and relaxing environment where you can feel at ease from the moment you walk through the door. Whether you’re visiting for some much-needed relaxation, help with muscular tension, a beauty treatment or simply an hour that’s entirely about you, I want your experience to feel personal rather than rushed.
I offer a wide range of massage, beauty and holistic treatments, with particular specialisms in massage, waxing — including female and male intimate waxing — eyelash extensions and results-driven facials with professional skincare selected for different ages, skin types and concerns.
When you book a treatment with me, you can be confident that you’re in the hands of a fully qualified and insured professional therapist. Your comfort, privacy and individual concerns are important to me, and I’ll always take the time to listen and tailor your treatment wherever possible.
Above all, I want Pamper Room to be somewhere you can feel comfortable being yourself — somewhere you can switch off from everything outside, enjoy some time that’s entirely yours and leave feeling relaxed, refreshed and, of course, thoroughly pampered.
