If you'd have told me 15 years ago that I would own a beauty salon I would never have believed you, you see, I was never really interested in anything beauty related and I actually started my working life as an Interior Designer but when the recession hit in 2008 I left that world and for a short time I worked for an energy provider, that really wasn't for me!
During those years I started studying Holistic therapies purely out of interest and soon became fascinated by the anatomy and physiology of the human body which is how I ultimately ended up where I am today.
I loved learning about the muscle groups and how manipulating them could ease out tension... however it wasn't long before clients started being asked about beauty treatments, and that when I trained in all things beauty, adding waxing, lash extensions, facial and many more other treatments to my portfolio.
Life began for Pamper Room on the 1st September 2013 in a little treatment room at the back of a hair salon, this is why I am called Pamper 'ROOM'.
In 2014 having focused on improving my skills and growing my client base I was able to move in to my very own salon, this was on Humberstone Lane in Thurmaston.
I enjoy 9 years at the salon, I saw staff come, grow and move on for their own reasons but sadly in 2023 my landlord advised he was re-developing the property and so I had to move on.
On the 1st September 2024, exactly 10 years since I had opened my little treatment room at the back of the hair salon I opened my new, bigger and beautiful salon in Syston.
I look forward to what the future has install for me here...
